Deering Association Sponsoring Pot Luck Dinner to Honor The Sunderlands
The Deering Association invites the public to attend a community pot luck on Saturday November 14th from 2p-4p at the Deering Town Hall.
With this social gathering we celebrate Larry and Pia Sunderland's decades of service to our town.
Pia and Larry were recognized during the Deering Association’s 2015 annual meeting in August, but many folks who were unable to attend that event expressed a desire to have the opportunity to congratulate the Sunderlands in person. This will be a good time!
Because we love to eat, this community pot luck seemed like the best approach. The event is intended to be a social one, with no particular program. Please feel free to wander in at any time, enjoy some nibbles and good company. Given the time of day, finger foods or dessert type items are recommended, rather than the sprawling wonderful meals we indulge in during our annual meeting, though feel free to bring whatever suits your fancy.
Please spread the word and invite anyone you wish; this event is open to the public.
