About Us

DLIA is a non-profit organization whose members are Deering Lake property owners and supporters.  The DLIA works with local and state governments in the interest of preserving the natural beauty and aquatic environment of the lake and its watershed.  Each year, the DLIA contributes to the Deering Conservation Commission, the Deering Rescue Squad, the NH Lakes Association, and the Loon Preservation Committee.

DLIA volunteers coordinate water quality, weeds, and boat launch monitoring programs.  The DLIA would like to thank all boaters for their previous and future cooperation.

Please observe all marked and shoreline "no wake" zones.  Also, Deering Lake enjoys many canoe and kayak enthusiasts, as well as the occasional exuberant swimmer in deep waters. Lastly, Deering Lake is the seasonal home of two pairs of nesting loons! Please respect these beautiful birds at a safe distance and especially observe any "no entry" signs near nesting locations.

Enjoy the lake!
